Introduction

Prof. Suzuki is presenting his calculations for 4x4 and 5x5 pan-magic squares ( 4x4, 5x5) and ultra-super squares ( 5x5). These magic squares can be decomposed into each N-adic digit-matrix. By the decomposition, there turn out to be a few (only 2!) independent 4-adic digit-matrices in 4th order magic square (here). In the case of 5th order magic squares, six 5-adic digit-matrices exist (here).
